How to Use the Chemex Coffee Maker

Designed by a German chemist and is a piece of art, as well as a coffee maker. Lovely as a Sunday morning treat.

Step 1

Warm Chemex and cups.

Step 2

Add the Chemex paper filter to the top.

Step 3

Add correct amount of coffee to water ratio 60g coffee per 1 litre water (coffee ground medium – between
demerara sugar and rock salt).

Step 4

Over a period of 90 seconds keep adding just under boiling water 92°C – 96°C to your coffee bit by bit.

Step 5

Within 4 minutes it will be ready to enjoy
