Mike joined the British army in September 1999 where he was enlisted into the Parachute Regiment, after some very tough, hard, physical and mentally demanding training he arrived in 2nd battalion on the 12th of December 2000. He had a very busy and exciting career travelling all over the world, visiting and experiencing the most beautiful and hostile countries, also cultures the world has to offer.
He has visited many coffee growing countries, with the most recent being a factory in the Southern foothills of mount Kenya only last Autumn. His passion for coffee has grown over his career and it grew evermore when he met the amazing Danielle! (Mike’s words x)
The two of us decided to make a huge step forward by Mike finishing in the Para’s by joining Danielle’s coffee and help Danielle to develop and grow it further, by working side by side each other instead of being worlds apart.
“It’s been a huge learning curve for me and I have a long way to go to get to the coffee standards of Danielle (Latte art), but I am sure with determination and the love and passion for coffee that I already have i’ll get there! For those of you I have already met and yet to meet, I look forward to working with you all further and developing our services and relationships with you.”
