It’s officially Autumn !! Which means the most exciting time for our senses. With mother natures way of showing off its diverse array of colours. Chilly starts, the birds flocking South, the sight of the first Robin in the garden busy gathering food supplies and fattening itself up for the temperature change ahead, an ever pleasing scene of a changing landscape, a true delight for our eyes, even on a damp foggy start, once the Autumn sun gets up overhead the beautiful British countryside really shows off why it is one of the most picturesque in the world!!
Luckily for us this happens on a bigger scale in the kitchen !! With our senses being pleased by the farmers harvest when British food and cuisine really comes into its own. The smell of bonfires and cider being made raises the spirit and to our delight the sunday roast with the sound of a crackling fire in the background really was worth the wait since spring, as i’m sure you would agree the roast just tastes better in the Autumn, with freshly harvested potatoes, parsnips and apples, surely these small pleasures can bring a big smile to everyone’s face. The exciting look forward to Halloween and Bonfire night.
This year, I (Mike) @Daniellescoffee will be running in the Bridgnorth 10k fun run, so the whip has been cracked (Once again) and I better dig out my go faster trainers as they haven’t be used for a while since leaving the Para’s. The run is on the 1st November starting at 11:00am. Along side the run is a Halloween market held in Bridgnorth High Town.
For us at Danielle’s Coffee it’s an even more exciting time to get out and about and see our customers with our latest member of the team, her name is ‘Brew’ our beautiful 12 week old yellow Labrador puppy!! She really does love Coffee and Tea and gets really excited when we have a cup in our hand. which is a great sign that she will settle right in!! Although it takes effort to tear her away from the log burner to come out to work.
We have also just received our wonderful Autumn and Winter syrups, from Pumpkin spice, Gingerbread, Almond, Ameretto, Chai & many more, perfect for your coffee or even in baking or cocktails. We also offer Eggnog ready for (dare I say it this early!!) Christmas time, there I’ve said it, but it’s really not long until we order that Turkey!!
