Firstly a big thank you to all our customers and friends who have supported us this year, MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!
We have been getting ready for the festive period ourselves not only at work but also personally as we have a family of 9 to cater for this year, less all the animals so we are very excited!! We have all the homemade gins and tipples ready, all the fires are lit so the countdown begins!!
We are on our second tree as the first one didn’t fill the space we had made for it, so after a blustery visit to Bridgnorth Saturday market we found our perfect 7ft Norwegian spruce, Brew Dog has taken a shine to it but has only destroyed 3 decorations so far as I’m sure she thinks its where we hang her toys!! Maybe it’s the outside being indoors she cant get her head around it or probably more than likely thinks we’ve gone mad!!
The tree was finished after a day of fizz and a bit of our home made damson gin. We love appreciating our tree from the dinning table, with our after dinner Danielle’s Coffee’s, so far being the Bolivian (Coffee of the month) Italian & Danielle’s Premium Blend, we have made them a little festive by adding baileys, salted caramel and eggnog syrups, (All for sale on our online shop of course). We are very much in the spirit of things here!!
I thought id post this one at a reasonable time because once you have seen the recipes below I’m sure you may make a dash to the shop to create some of them, we would also like to hear your versions or twists on them as well.
A must have in the freezer for parties and festive visits is coffee ice cubes, simply make some Strong Danielle’s Espresso and freeze in an ice cube tray and then you can add these to a baileys with some coconut milk and it’s simply nom nom!! Talking of Baileys try some in your Chilli Con Carne if you want to play it safe simply add a splash of cinnamon and salted caramel syrup.
Spaghetti Bolognese add some Danielle’s Italian Blend espresso, it depends on what you like but have a try, see if your guests, friends and family like it or pick up on it.
Perfect Mulled Cider:
1litre of Henry Weston’s cloudy cider (Flagon)
Half a litre of Ginger beer,
1 Orange,
Handful of cloves,
Couple of cinnamon sticks or splashes of cinnamon, pumpkin syrup,

Stab a few holes into your orange and poke your cloves in.Pop into decent size saucepan, pour in cider, ginger beer then add your cinnamon and honey.
Once boiled, turn off the heat and add your Gin, Rum to your liking and serve, or keep it warm and place it on your log burner, stove to fill the room with festive smells!!!
Salmon,Stilton with Walnut canapé’s, I think that’s enough said on that!!!
Salted caramel cheese cake, hazelnut, eggnog syrups also in your mince pie mix or add a drizzle to the cream, ice cream when serving with those mince pies or Christmas pudding. www.daniellescoffee.co.uk/shop
Your imagination really is the limit with use of our syrups in your festive cooking. Our T-Sac’s are a very versatile must have in the kitchen not just for loose leaf tea, we also use them to make coffee bags, put spices in them to infuse mulled wine and other recipes.
If your passing us don’t be afraid to drop in and say hi, we maybe at our local The Boyne Arms which is a must visit this Christmas as the food will surprise you I guarantee it. If your not quite in the festive spirit yet this place will certainly get you into the swing of things as its the perfect country pub.
