2016 The Year To Get Lean!!!

Happy New Year all and here we are again. We hope you all had a great festive season and a fantastic New Years eve, we spent ours with friends and family celebrating at midnight with fireworks,Champagne, coffee and cigars!! what a great evening it was, so thanks again to our friends and family for an amazing night.

We hope your New Years resolutions included DRINKING MORE COFFEE!!! also being more ambitions with your desired drink with some of our diverse range of syrups to try.

It’s the year to get lean!! This doesn’t just mean going to the gym and seeing how fit you can get or even running a marathon by the end of January, if you are trying out one of the big fitness challenges this year such as The Flora London marathon, the 3 peaks challenge, one of the mud runner events or how about trying out the Para’s Ten a 10mile endurance event in 1hr 50min carrying a 35lb backpack/bergen which is the benchmark for the Parachute Regiment, there are 3 of these events held annually in Aldershot, Catterick and Colchester. You can even run it with your dog as there’s a Canine race at the start. We would like to take part in the Bridgnorth 22 mile walk, so whatever you decide to do good luck to you all !! but how about experiencing the best free gym in the world !!! The great out doors and we the UK have some of the best the world has to offer, why not dig out that tent, dust off the walking boots grab a camping stove and aeropress and head out and make a gourmet coffee outside !! remember when you were a child and cooked baked beans on an open fire for the first time ? how good did they taste ??? and that’s the great thing you are also creating lifetime memories what is better than that? Granted we are in the depth of winter at the moment but the sunsets are just as impressive as the summer ones, just make sure you wrap up accordingly !! so be inspired nature’s gym !!

Danielle’s Coffee has another exciting and busy year ahead, we hope to complete and open our roasting facility by the end of the year for all to come learn enjoy and experience the art of roasting coffee. We hope again to attend many shows and fairs including Ludlow food show 2016 9th-11th September as last years show was even bigger and better. we have many country fairs to look forward to and our closet one is the Burwarton show Thursday 4th August, please look out for some of our customers at these fantastic events and shows.

National Coffee week this year is the 11th – 17th of April so get involved in that. The week is about Coffee professionals, traders and customers to help fundraise to help cultures and global communities where our lovely coffee grows.

National Coffee Day is annually held on the 29th September so make sure you drink loads of the good stuff that day!!

We also look forward to support more charities this year we supported three last year so hope to improve on that, with our continual support going to a local church in the village of Chetton.

Unfortunately a sad way to start 2016 by the end of production of Britain’s most iconic vehicle the Land Rover Defender, after 68 years of production JLR have had to end production due to European laws. A real shame, so look forward to see the new Defender in the next few years.

Danielle’s Coffee loves supporting and working alongside British brands and independent businesses as that is where our passions are formed upon. We drive a Land Rover as we love the brand and more importantly we need one where we live plus we also need to provide for our customers whatever the British weather decides to throw at us.

We also like to be British as much as we can from clothing to the British manufactures of our coffee machines as they have over 50 years of heritage behind them, Fracino.

We also have some exciting adverts in the pipeline ranging from local farmers to down hill mountain biking and skydiving so something for all tastes all coming soon !!

We have a few coffee country trips planned, not just a holiday for us but some important research for the company to help us grow and gain more experience in this area so look forward to updates on this.

So an interesting year so far, with just a few dates for the diary, exciting summer shows and fairs to look forward to, this will hopefully give you a warm and fuzzy feeling inside during these wintry days.
